Not sure if it’s just my personal brand of carsickness, within 5 mins of sitting in a moving vehicle I knock out. It’s honestly so helpful for traveling during holidays.

Just watched #EmiliaPerez last night, it was fantastic! While I loved the music, what really blew me away was the story. I almost wish it wasn’t a musical. Some of the scenes that were very tense were paired with lighter music or dance numbers, it felt a bit distracting.

Going for runs in the winter feels like hopping in a pool - I’m a bit afraid of the cold right before I start, but once I get going I forget about the temperature and enjoy the run.

For the last year managers have been telling me I'm up for a promo next quarter. But as the deadlines approach, I'm told I'll need to wait just one more quarter. I'm told they just need more data, even though I've been rated Top Talent for 3 years now and have delivered impactful projects.

Today was a coworker's last day and I am so jealous of the relief he must be feeling. Leaving a job during this time of the year reminds me of winter break in college. Every responsibility that could possibly stress me out went away for weeks and I could just focus on important things for me.

Leg day today! I have a love/hate relationship with Bulgarian split squats. They are very effective, but they often give me DOMs for days! Really hope to not be hobbling on turkeyday.

One of the things I feel so weird about at work is that people don’t just recognize you for your achievements. If I want a promotion, I have to apply for it, if I want people to know about a win I need to document and present it. Just makes the accomplishments feel artificial and underwhelming.

Love when I have a no meeting day at work, and then a Sev2 comes in taking up the majority of the day, then have to spend the remaining time I have left to review other peoples work. Worked the whole day and nothing to show for it. Maybe tomorrow I'll get something done. 🤷‍♂️
