Things I've learned since being needled from my physical therapist: 1. Trigger points are by definition a lack of blood flow to that area. 2. The more a muscle twitches while needling a trigger point the better because it's a bigger release from the restriction its creating. 3. They lied, it hurts.

I think one of the talents I have that others don't necessarily have is that I can simplify complex information. Not everyone views that as a talent, I swear academia wants you to complicate things as much as possible. Either someone appreciates it or they get frustrated with me for doing it.

The reason I have so many notebooks that I haven't written in? Because I'm afraid of ruining the potential of a notebook when I use it. Because something so pristine shouldn't have my stupid thoughts in it. Yes, I'm in therapy. #writersky

I requested for my library to buy The Sick Box by Matthew Fries and his sequel The Rabbit Hole. I heard it compared to Good Omens and that's enough for me.

There needs to be an indie author website that highlights indie authors instead of consumers having to crawl around amazon or kobo or whatever. There IS a consumer base, but it needs to be more straight-forward. #booksky Unless I'm mistaken and the damn thing already exists and no one's told me.

I don't want to get rid of the books I think will be awesome and be stuck in a library of books I don't want. I don't want to get rid of books without reading them.

I had to turn off the internet on my console to play Dragon Age Inquisition and I turned off the "always connect ability" and now I can play my game... You know, after sobbing and yelling at my TV for putting me on a screen I couldn't exit out of. 😅

I think if we took all the experts off the internet and take away everyone's legitimity on here.. it would do more than everyone saying "no, but I'm the real expert, here's what to do or here's what's happening..." and we might need to consider doing that because of the AI takeover.

I think part of critical thinking is being able to disagree with a book you've read and pinpoint why and how it's wrong. Some people agree wholeheartedly with a book and absorb it into their belief structure too fast without actually taking the time to see if it's correct.

What do you think of my fake library book pile #booksky ? I have to pretend that they're library books so that I actually read them because I'm so used to prioritizing library books.

How good are you at spotting someone who code-switches their accent? Sometimes people spot me, but it's rare. I got a good fake mid-west accent going all the time. I call it my TV accent because that's where I got it from.
