I keep seeing speculation as to why Shadow is a hedgehog, but I think Gerald’s journal pretty much confirms a pretty popular theory. It’s believed that Gerald went to Hidden Palace and saw the mural depicting a legendary hedgehog, and that Gerald based Shadow’s design off of it. #SXSG
