I think even for people who aren't artists, there are many who enjoy art as a human feat of skill and expression even if they are doing no art creation themselves. Even if AI art was better then human art, and it's not, no one gives a shit that a forklift can carry more then a weightlifter.

Friend of mine irl wanted to comm herself as a Slomarian…how could I say no! I based her Slomsona off of a butterfly. The character is from Sxemli, the country of flowers. Sxemlian sloms typically have vestigial wings, perfect for a butterfly-esque design! #commission
