I think my most controversial game development opinion is that developers should be allowed to patch any bug out regardless of how deeply engraved it is in the community. Even if it's fun it can sometimes be more hassle than it's worth.

I don't think it's inherently unethical to make a game with superficial gambling fixtures but part of me feels a little sad that the platonic ideal of the "forevergame", a game you can buy once and get unlimited entertainment out of, is shaping out to be "slot machine but you have infinite quarters"

sincerely hope they at least make sulfur into non-renewable gunpowder, that's like a prime gameplay use right there. the only way to obtain gunpowder is through creepers (and occasionally chest loot I think?) but having an instant yet non-renewable source of it would be really good

Text Wrapping is genuinely the worst to program. you have to keep track of the full words and god forbid you already implemented a system for separating text using line breaks. you either have to implement another one on top of that or make it work with it and I honestly dont know which is worse
