It seems as if Zayne has stepped away for a much needed break. As a result, she decided to prepare herself some tea and await go over the patient list thoroughly. If she has time later, she'll go out and study some of the stars.

"Not like I have very many options for compliments."

A small hum, head tilting her head to the side. "Then perhaps I should give you a nickname... Like pretty bird?"

"A... Kitten?" Susu asked, brow raised as she watched Sylus.

"Hm... You seem to be an interesting type of person," Susu said, leaning forward to look over @ofthetides.bsky.social before smiling gently. "Would you perhaps like some tea?" As she spoke, she leaned back, hands tucked behind her back before humming.

"Hm~ No need thank me sir," she said, tapping through each patient list before pausing for a moment. A new patient, a mental note to check on them later.

"I think she said it was her first time making it," she said, tilting her head down toward the other. "Perhaps the coffee will help wash it down if you don't quite the enjoy the dryness." Turning away, she returned to her station, carefully picking up the pad once more to go over each item. ↓

She nodded onve, leaving quickly only to return with the coffee in hand and a small slice of cake which she sat in front of him. "I was in luck, one of the nurse's was cutting up cake for her birthday."

"Of course sir," she said, humming slightly before walking toward the door. "If they have sweets I'll be sure to bring you a couple." Though that last part was also meant to be a slight tease.

⠀ ⠀ ⠀ the clicking from his keyboard came to a halt. finally, he turned his gaze toward her. "add 10 packets of sugar," he said, his sweet tooth betraying him. "and one creamer." ⠀

⠀ ⠀ ⠀ he doesn’t peel his eyes away from the screen. "that won’t be necessary," though the cup on the desk said otherwise—it was completely empty. ⠀

A small sigh, walking over and gently tapping the top of his cup. "Coffee it is, I'll be back shortly than. Thankfully the break room has a fresh pot ready," she said, bowing her head slightly.

"Sorry sir," she replied, voice gentle though a small smile played on her lips. Her hand traced over the different information she was looking through, before pausing. "Perhaps I should fetch us drinks. Any requests, doctor?"

A small hum, reading over each note and carefully checking on the patients. Tonight's rounds would take her quite a while.

She has quite a bit of work ahead of her lately it seems, wandering the long halls of the hospital with a hum.
