The Super Mario Galaxy movie was pretty much exactly what I expected: a simple 5-minute story told over 90 minutes with beautiful visuals, music, & a stream of easter eggs. Fun enough just like the first one, but also something I probably never need to see again unless I stumble into having kiddos.

Reached Level 41 in the game of Life today. Nice lazy day. I think I'm only missing a few Pokémon in Pokopia left (but I'm pretty sure I have all the necessary habitats built, just waiting to get lucky with the spawns). Also got all environments up to Level 10.

Some key take away from 2025: - No podcast meant no worries about skipping a lot of newer games just to keep up with the moment. - I'm over Nintendo - There were a lot of games that just fell flat for me, and then there were a lot of games that really worked.

Well this was interesting. Opened a #MTGxSpiderMan bundle today & noticed SOME of the rares/mythics (including a 2nd Soul Stone) were missing their little holofoil stickers at the bottom. Didn't see any signs of tampering so I'm hoping it's just a misprint? I've put in a ticket with WotC support.

Death to Chronos. Got my first Hades 2 clear on night 34 (which I think is around the same place as Hades 1) in my very first run with the 6th Nocturnal Arms weapon. Immediately followed it up with another success with maybe my least favorite of the weapons (Witch's Staff). Supegiant remains great!
