The job market is really bad folks. I got downsized after seven years and the only responses I can get from anybody is the occasional email from an obvious scam account.

It is a foregone conclusion that we will have universal healthcare in this country because every other system is simply unsustainable. How soon that day comes depends on what we decide to do with our days.

When a companyās stock rises, the executives get bonuses. When a companyās stock plummets, workers see layoffs. Itās why people were outraged when Biden said the economy was āboomingā while Americans couldnāt afford groceries. Itās why people are worried as stocks plunge now.

With these tariffs causing the market to crash, weāre about to see just how irresponsible and dangerous it is that healthcare is tied to employment. Itās always been bad, but mass layoffs would mean the healthcare crisis worsens exponentially. That and student debt.

A study found $79 trillion was taken from the bottom 90% over the last half century. There's no lack of abundance. The abundance is being hoarded by the rich. But Abundance won't say that because its goal is to distract from oligarch-created scarcity - and deter Democratic populism.

DEI didnāt do this. The āradical leftā didnāt do this. The LGBTQIA+ community didnāt do this. The GOP is saying ālook over hereā while they make decisions that will ultimately enrich the billionaire class and further hurt the people.

I guess that settles it. Corey Booker was just promoting himself for 2028, and Democrats have no intention of getting off the couch. Remember to vote against all of these people in Democratic primaries.

If Democrats start blocking and obstructing the way Mitch McConnell used to do, then Cory Booker did some good. If Democrats continue to collaborate with Republicans, then Cory was just promoting himself for 2028.

Corey Booker never had a chance to break Strom Thurmundās record, because heās just doing a long speech. Heās not obstructing legislation or hindering the Republicans in any way at all. Itās a publicity stunt meant to get donations. But if it moves other Dems off the couch, it has some value.

For those of you who are concerned that Strom Thurmond might be upset if Cory Booker breaks his filibuster record, donāt worry. I still lived in South Carolina when Thurman finally passed, and we all made sure the casket was locked.

If Democrats somehow manage to accidentally win in 2028, the future of the country depends upon whether theyāre willing to prosecute rich people for their crimes. If there are no consequences, then we can kiss the Constitution goodbye.

I forgot my own advice this weekend and engaged with a few troll accounts. We shouldnāt do this because social media rewards conflict and feeding a troll is a good way to increase the size of their account. When someone tells a 10-year-old lie about Bernie Sanders, just block them.

Things are going to get bad in the next few years. Existing medical folks will leave red states while new ones avoid them. Our scientists will look for work in other countries. And liberals will probably be smug and condescending about the resulting pain, preventing us from bringing people to us.
