time to try my hand at the noodle boi in a digital space at last

need to practice coloring, so I decided to ambush my friend @supernovasys.bsky.social with an illustration of one of her OC's it was a very fun draw, happy with how it turned out!

Woe, a flurry of sketches upon ye Gonna try and do tablet stuff over the course of next week. It's a bit cumbersome space-wise so having it plugged in means shoving the keyboard super far back on the desk Probably gonna alternate each week, should help with not burning out.

last night's sketch feeling more comfortable with using a tablet, though my torsos need a lot of work. I can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong but they are undeniably off

tonight's foray with tablet sketching not happy with how the torso connects to the pelvis, the arms could be a bit better on the bright side, it's the best looking head I have drawn on tablet so far

Made the jump to Krita to see if my pen pressure issues were specific to my version of photoshop, and sure enough the pen sensitivity works fine now. Did a quick test sketch. there's going to be a lot of re-learning to do, but my first impressions of the program are very positive!

Havent had much time to play with the tablet so here are some paper sketches I believe i posted this page a while back when it was less filled out, but there is enough new stuff i drew since then that i figured i'd repost it Been mainly practicing pelvises

tonight's sketch. Lacking pen pressure is really messing with me, though realistically it wouldn't magically turn this into a masterpiece. generally pretty happy with it in spite of that

gotta try doing more than linework eventually right? today was about getting the right resolution moving forward, and seeing if I can fix the pen sensitivity issues. the former i'm happy with now, the latter is still an issue.

day 2 and 3 of my time practicing with my new tablet for some reason my program isn't recognizing my pen sensitivity settings consistently, meaning I don't get to play with line weight as much as I want to. that aside, there's a lot to work on, but I'm looking forward to working on it.

made my first ever digital sketch with my new tablet there are some kinks to iron out, my pen's pressure sensitivity doesn't seem to be getting recognized in the program i'm using (though it's working fine in the driver's sensitivity test) otherwise though, i'm excited!

Yesterday i was given this bad boy as a birthday present. It's time to finally make the move to digital art. It'll be a rough learning period, but the conveniences that working on digital affords me will be well worth the hassle I'll still do traditional sketches too, gotta keep the habit going

It's my birthday today, so i'm putting the breaks on nsfw stuff and just indulging in a lil izzyposting instead I've been at this drawing once a day thing for basically the whole year, only missing a few days in total. Hopefully next birthday I can claim to have not missed a single day since!

Another page filled out I should take the time at some point and make a list of aspects in my drawing i feel good about vs aspects i need to improve on. In the meantime, i'm pretty happy with my recent output

A page of sketches done. I got really annoyed at how bad the guy in the top sketch looked and it ended up devolving in practicing how to draw guy ass and backsack. It annoys me how easy it is to forget how to draw certain things if you don't draw it for long enough. Got own zoned by butts

Today's batch of sketches. Honestly feeling pretty good about them. Got a better sense of how to draw breasts, and i think it has shown in my most recent output Drawing at similar angles is a problem though, going to have to work on that.
