That json file testing worked out great, that and image loading too, and things also kinda of spireled into a whole quiz gameshow making game. I will today add ui for quiz edting. I finally added actual diggable dirt, the sprites arent the best, but its way better then what i had before in my opinion, i can also change how long it takes to decay back into filled ground so or make it smaller, any feedback leave a comment! dont forget to follow. #indiegame #programmer #indiedev

Been out all day, but got home and still managed to get the abilityes coded, in the final game you will have multiple abilityes to unlock and equip, you will be able to choose what ability to use in what keybind! New ability systems to come, i cant wait until i get some 3 or 4 and you can start comboing with them. In relation to the boss its like 70% done, i will rework it to fit more with the abilityes tho. But time will tell. For now look at a simple example of a ability/how it works: #gamdev #indiegame

So i remade the ui finally, and the Groundar now works line it should, it pings the location of any object marked as detectable! #gamedev #indiegame #programming Here is a before and after picutre:

Got some stuff done today, im reworking some mechanics, plus finishing up the boss fight. I changed the old locator for the new Radar (Groundar). And changed the HP indicator. Old vs New Next up on the changes are the pressure meter, and speed levers. Stay tunned #indiegame #gamedev

Today i started and finished work on how i plan for the map system to work, yes you will be able to draw you own maps and add customizable icons, the world will have pre placed landmarks in stratigic places for you to discover and find you way around! #programming #gamemaker #indiegame

Now i will show a print of the UI so far and what everything does poorly written in paint. The UI will be change, both leavers be combined, the HP indictor will be made smaller, the detector will also be change and turning will be done with A & D. Pressure meter will be redone for ability system!
