I’ve been trying to learn a little Chinese but my brain always wants to use Japanese grammar when I speak. I think subconsciously I’m thinking “all non English languages must use similar grammar to Japanese”. Chinese grammar is actually pretty similar to English tho I’m finding

I picked up a bag of unopened Takis, noticed the bag had a weird fold, squeezed the bag, and some Taki dust shot straight into my right eye from arms length away and IT BURNS

The evacuation alarm just went off in my hotel… at 5am 🫩
