Chicago just went all in on renewable energy and is demonstrating that it works. Chicago now powers EVERY city-owned building – from airports to police stations – with renewable energy. That includes O’Hare airport.

A candidate that my team interviewed asked if I was a Bears fan and instead of telling them I didn't know anything about sports like a normal person I told them "I'm not a sporty spice"

I decided I didn't want to rush things as the flying season wraps up this year, so I'll be trying to build some solo hours these last few weeks and reviewing ground school material in the interim. I plan to hit the ground running when the season starts back up in 2026 - I have an SPL to achieve!

Got to sit in the flight decks of the a321N and 772 this weekend for my trips, and both times were a treat. Both of these captains were women (one trans and amazing to see us in places society hates!), and both were kind and enthusiastic about their knowledge and work

The pilots let me see the flight deck of their 777 and taught me that we are 3 stories high. It doesn’t even feel that high up sitting there. The FO said he was 6’3” and the wheels come up relatively high compared to him. Airplanes are just incredible 🤯

Today took a surprise turn. Lost nonrev roulette this morning, so decided to do a seaplane tour. Captain saw my Oshkosh shirt and said I’m sitting up front with him. Amazing flight, amazing views, amazing experience 🙂
