If I had a nickel for every time I wished there was an Ion stop at King/Northfield I'd have a surprising amount of nickels but that could probably be assuaged by planting some trees along King to provide shade in summer and a windbreak in winter and generally making King not miserable to walk along

If I had a nickel for every time I found myself wishing for an Ion stop by the McCormick Community Centre, I'd be making multiple nickels a week

$198M / 3,500 parking spots = $56,571 per spot. But no money for affordable housing, healthcare, education, OSAP, and ODSP. Got it.

Privatization worked so well with highway 407 and garbage collection and British Rail and Canadian National and Air Canada we should keep doing it I love putting shareholder value ahead of the public good

Canada's government is looking at privatizing airports. What would that accomplish? | CBC News
If Canada proceeds with privatizing airports, it could open opportunities for investors and infrastructure improvements. But it could also mean higher costs for air passengers.

Rode PC Connect transit for the first time and I give it a solid 5/10 ✅It was impeccably clean ✅On time or early ✅Runs more often than Flixbus or VIA On the other hand: ❗Doesn't run Sundays or evenings ❗Nothing on the bus *didn't* rattle ❗Unnecessarily convoluted route through Kitchener-Waterloo

Rode the Eglinton Crosstown LRT end to end today and was impressed! Much swifter than Finch West. Some reliability issues on opening day but I suspect that was in part due to the crowds of people who came to try it out!

The new weekend GO trains to Kitchener are great and all, but it would be really nice to have a morning one that I don't have to wake up at 6am to catch
