Assuming reports are true, since the club have confirmed nothing as yet, then you would hope Martin O’Neill for a year is to help set up a longer term structure across the club. I say hope… I don’t believe for a second the club have any kind of strategy and we’ll be here against in 12 months.

Anyway, before Hearts get carried away saying that penalty they didn’t get cost them the title, mind St Mirren went 3-1 up against you and it was wrongly ruled out and you ended up drawing 2-2. So if you want the decisions corrected you’re still a point behind instead of two. Championees!

Curious thing in that VAR review is that although he says VAR was correct to say Hearts should have had a penalty, Collum didn’t actually say McLean was wrong not to change his mind and give it. Whereas later he was critical of the referee and VAR for not awarding Celtic the penalty at Easter Road.

Credit where it’s due, I have moaned about the VAR review in the past being soft ball questions but today I think every meltdown question and possibility was posed to Willie Collum about the Celtic penalty and he answered them. The only bizarre thing… Beaton was going to give a Motherwell throw?!

Mandalorian and Grogu did what Section 31 could not and turned a season long story into an engaging and enjoyable movie. You can still pretty much work out where the episode divide would be, but it’s far less clunky. Would still have preferred the season, but it was definitely very enjoyable!

I used to work in a petrol station and once helped a customer change their flat tyre. I got told off for it afterwards as it wasn’t covered by the corporate insurance. Technically correct, but morally bankrupt. But at least I can change a tyre. Useless in a world where cars don’t come with spares.
