I got a shiny new fountain pen today and can't stop writing and sketching random stuff. This is proof my adhd needs shiny new stuff to finally do a task I've been trying to push my brain to do for weeks.

It's official I started the outline for my first illustrated history book! My book is on women who shaped New York State. I'll cover every region of NY. Lil' background: I went to a community college for illustration, I got a BA in graphic design and a BA in history. Time to combine it all!

I started an experiment in January by deleting all my socials except BlueSky. I have YouTube and Pinterest, but they're a search engine to me. The results so far: - More art created than I've ever created before. - Confidence through the roof. - More sales and commsions. - No doom scrolling.

I played school today with my daughter. Good news I got a 100 on the spelling test! But, I had to look up how to multiple 15 by 42. If you're stumped too, this method helped me the most: 15x42=15x(40+2) 15×40=600 15x2=30 630 Math was my worst subject. My best was History and Art.

Tonight, my daughter and I ordered pizza and watched KPop Demon Hunter on Netflix. We LOVE it!!! 🤩 I'm prettysure both of us are now adding Huntrix to our playlists.

Found a perfectly good journal with dotted grid paper at the thrift store. The only issue was the cover was an AI image, ewwwww. It's okay, I fixed it with a layer of stickers and post-it note. This is now my messy Brain Dump Journal. Also, it was 50 cents! What a deal.
