New listings are coming this week, but not until Thursday at the latest. The smoke N64 console needed a significant deep clean. I'll spare you the details of what I found inside. It's been a long day.

Next up for reassembly is this gray N64 controller. I'm not sure it was used more than a handful of times, it was in remarkable condition even before I cleaned it. Even the joystick parts were good!

Finished the garden project off with some vining annuals in the hanging basket and solar lights. Only thing left to do is wait...

Been working on a Resident Evil 4 side project the last few weeks. Leon in his prime is a beautiful thing to watch.

Getting this Japan exclusive Mario Kart 64 controller reassembled today. I've paired a few of these shells with 8BitDo's wireless DIY kit in the past. The GameCube style hall effect stick they offer is nice and has decent values but I opted to stick with the OEM N64 joystick.

Super Smash Bros released for N64 27 years ago today. This was one of the first games that triggered nostalgia in me back in 1999 when I was just 15 years old. Seeing all the Nintendo characters I'd grown up with together in a game was so awesome. Are you a fan of the OG Smash?

There were 8 Blockbuster Video exclusive N64 cartridges in the Americas with only Clay Fighter Sculptor's Cut was released before 2000 This is important due Nintendo's 50,000 unit production run minimum that expired at the end of 1999, meaning many carts could be printed in much smaller quantities!

April 14 1999, Chameleon Twist 2 debuted on the N64 in the Americas! As well as adding additional tongue maneuvers and a parachute in the sequel..the character models in the American version were changed to more realistic looking lizards as opposed to the cute original characters from the original!
