I'm so sad. Was getting the play some PS2 stuff tonight and I found out that the first controller port on the console doesn't work nor does it read memory cards. I wasted $120 on a PS2 I can't even play.

Sorry for not being active here in the last couple of weeks. I haven't been on a break, but taking some time to play stuff. The 12 hour shifts at work finally stopped last month and I'm back down to 8, which freed up so much time. It's been nice to chill and game for a while when I get off.

'It Doesn't Matter' from Sonic Adventure might be my favorite vocal track in the entire Sonic franchise and I'm dead serious. Now that I'm listening to it as an adult, it captures Sonic's character perfectly. Sonic isn't a hero, he doesn't consider himself one.And I think it captures that well.

So I might be dead serious when I say that the addition of having a map in dungeons and fast travel in the Sky 1 remake makes it the definitive version by default. Dude, they help *SO MUCH* with pacing and navigation it's not even funny. #TrailsInTheSky1stChapter

So I'm about 4ish hours into the the trial version of the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake and so far it's everything I wanted it to be. The combat is a really nice mesh between Cold Steel and Daybreak's battle system. And the lack of loading zones makes navigation SO MUCH EASIER. I love it!

Just finished Tales of Berseria and god damn, dude. I love this game. And easy mid to high tier B for me. If the combat wasn't so button mashy, it'd be an easy S tier and my favorite Tales game. The cast, story and world are all SO DAMN good!

So I was thinking about the Tales Of Remastered project going on right now. And after Symphonia and Graces f remastered, I was expecting an alternating pattern where they go back and forth between modern and classic. But honestly, doing it the way they are currently makes a lot more sense.

So like my goal with Trails, Pokemon or Sonic, it's now a goal of mine to collect at least one of each of the mainline Tales games. I've got most of them! I just need Eternia, Destiny 2, Rebirth and Innocence. Any side games like Radiant Mythology or Summoner's Lineage is a bonus!

So for some reason, I always felt that the art style in Tales of Graces always gave off of a different vibe compared to most of the other entries and now I know why. Compared to the others, it's art style looks very Shoujo. There are a few others that have the vibe, but Graces REALLY has it I feel.

Damn, it feels being back in a Tales kick. Haven't been on one in such a long time. That being said, these are the games I primarily want to play while I'm in it. Tales of Berseria, Abyss and Arise are long overdue for revisits.

It's been awhile since I've done anything with Sarius. So I have something in mind for him in the next couple of days! It's something that I've been thinking a lot about recently as well and I can't wait to share stuff about my boy!

Been playing Tales of Berseria for the first time in about 6 years since a friend is currently playing it. And man, after playing Trails so much, not only is it a breath of fresh air to play something different, but I was reminded that I still do *REALLY* love the Tales series.

A bit more about Lia in the Dragon Ball universe! 😁 As she isn't able to properly utilize her Ki yet without exhausting herself too quickly, she opts for physical attacks rather than energy attacks, letting her overwhelm her opponents with her speed and agility because of her slender build!

Introducing Lia's next counterpart in the Dragon Ball universe! Xenoverse 2's character creation is a bit limited on what you can do, so I had to take some liberties. That being said, I still think she came out rather well!
