One of the hardest parts of #PTSD is sharing what you are going/been through, especially when ppl say shit like "we all have our shit to deal with!" Yall realize not everyone has had the same privileged life? some people have had horrible upbringings and things happen to them over and over again.

Well this week is turning out really good despite earlier events. I really just need to focus on myself more, continue self care, continue being nice to myself regardless of my intrusive thoughts, I been eating well, and prioritizing sleep, and spending time doing things that make me feel like me..

The most difficult aspect of my PTSD struggle is how its changed me, I dont really like people much anymore, nor trust them and i have less empathy and i really dislike this, i dont want my heart to grow cold but it has somewhat..

Castor oil is a good investment. It does everything that sources say it does. At first I was skeptical but I been using it for a few months on the regular and its helped with a lot of ailments and i use it daily now for hair, skin, undereye, nails, face, wrinkles, lymphatic system, feet and more.

I find it annoying how people self diagnose #MentalIllness, Its SO TRENDY to have #autism, #ADHD and even #PTSD, Everyone is not #autistic. These are not normal human struggles. This dilutes the seriousness of these conditions and can lead to invalidation of people with them.

One thing I come across when I share my #PTSD diagnosis is that the majority of people think its because of ONE event, Its not that simple. I always get asked what event gave me PTSD; but for me, and usually for others, Its an accumulation of traumatic patterns overtime. 🔍 #MentalHealth | #Trauma

Something about doing a deep cleaning of your home and then randomly deciding to rearrange the whole layout of some of the rooms is so refreshing and a good mental reset.

I feel like I've finally put some trauma and #PTSD behind me but I chose to smoke weed and drink beer everyday to cope/turn my brain off. I didn't always drink everyday so that means it doesn't have to stay this way. The focus now is to revert bad habits and keep practicing healthy #SelfCare habits.

So my pet spider friend died today! It moved into the corner of my room last fall and I left it. Fed it flies few times. I was surprised it was there for months. Today it descended into the corner right onto another spiderweb got stuck, and another spider came out of a hole and ate it! No my friend!

I'm tired of my story being "I struggle with #PTSD and substance use", I've seen many specialists since my diagnosis in 2021; I feel like half a decade of my life has been lost. I'm suppose to be applying for disability but its hard to even trust the system. I just want to heal and get back to me.

I'm also trying to get inspired to create content for the #HypernodeBBS YouTube channel; which I have been neglecting. A lot of activity in the scene I want to report on. I want to use this platform and others like YouTube to support the #Textmode #BBS scene still and share my own creations.

I've been unmotivated and uninspired to do much work on my #BBS but I worked a bit on #HypernodeBBS today, slowly learning how to use my #Linux server. I want to get back into coding, its been a while.. So at least I have the BBS online privately to tinker with. I'm still using Mystic BBS software.

Its warm out today but I decided to bake anyways. Mostly because #baking has been very calming and therapeutic, like #ArtTherapy. Something about making a nice #focaccia loaf for yourself and getting real good at it is soothing to my mind and soul. I just made this one fresh out of the oven.

This hasn't been the best month for me for PTSD symptoms. Been quite difficult but I still have hope things can turn around. Maybe the rest of the month will be great. I feel like its been a while since things felt great. I forget what it feels like almost..
