Calling that reincarnation AU "Hemitheos". In it, Hesperos is saved by a timely intervention by Lahabrea, who attempted to pry the vrykolakas from his soul, to varying degrees of success. The concept was far too entwined with his soul to properly be removed His soul was fractured, but he lived.

It's the way that Phosphoros embodies his father's more overt anger and temper, and channels it into something more useful, his duties as Azem. While Hesperos embodies Eos' cold, vindictive wrath. Fully hidden until it turns into something destructive somewhere down the line.

i think it'd be very fun if hesperos and his twin phosphoros were two halves of one soul. they certainly show it. hesperos is an exceptional spellcaster, and phosphoros has immense strength and martial prowess.
