I'm calling this post "NOT the #Aurora" 😀 We didn't see what some of our lucky #Tucson friends saw in our skies the past few nights. But, we did see some cool #clouds AND #Venus! We are very fortunate to have beautiful skies/sunrises/sunsets almost every day.

This makes me a little sad 😔 I will have to dig out my #Penny loafers, with the shiny copper 1¢ coins from the year of my birth, and wear them in memoriam. Also, how much is a thought gonna be now?!? 😢

I don't have photo evidence but I had to YELL at #Lyngo because he was out in the back 40, just now, with his heavy break-up-caliche bar digging up weeds! Seriously. It's only been a month. 🤦‍♀️

Today I DO honor, above all veterans, my Dad. He served with distinction and honor for 32 years. He was an NCO and never made a lot of money. But, it was enough to keep my 6 siblings and I comfortable. Actually, we would have been considered poor today. Anyway. He made it through WW2 to Vietnam.

I've been conflicted on how to comment on #VeteransDay this year. My blood runs green from my #USArmy heritage. Great-Uncles who served in WW1 & WW2. Father who served 32 yrs beginning in WW2. Older brother, Vietnam. Younger brother, Cold War.
