Seeing a lot of skeeting about how anyone who didn't think #Supergirl was the best film in history is a misogynist. It was okay. There were plot holes big enough to drive a space truck through, the villain was pointlessly over the top evil, and the pacing wasnt great. Fun to watch, not high cinema.

The #Supergirl movie was okay. It was very heavy on plot devices. Villain was completely unmemorable, I've already forgotten his name and I just left the theater. Even Jason Momoa as Lobo was pretty mediocre, which seemed like a dead ringer from a casting perspective. Maybe 6 out of 10.

Family. Can't live with them, can't throw them off a bridge when they drop drama on your door.

Welp, now on Book 3 of the Ciaphus Cain books. Haven't gotten into a series like this in a while, and they're quite engaging even for someone like me who knows basically nothing about the wider #Warhammer 40k franchise.

Despite not being all that into 40K, I tried the first Ciaphus Cain audiobook for my long drive back to Ottawa. Pretty entertaining and some of inquisitor Vales annotations had me laughing out loud.

At the point where I know I'm playing too much Hades 2 because the music just randomly starts playing in my head.

Hades 2 has great characters and a really fun gameplay loop, but my absolute favorite part of this game is having Melinoe and Artemis just chill out and sing together.

After seeing Materia Symphony I'm finally going to get my act together in FF7 rebirth. Replayed the first act and damn, whoever sent Sephiroth on a mission anywhere near Nibelheim should be so incredibly fired. Like, out of a cannon fired. Out of a cannon and into the sun fired. Probably Hojo.

Saw Materia Symphony with the Ottawa Pops Orchestra last night. Truly excellent, now I feel a burning urge to finally finish Rebirth.

Did everyone forget how to do controls for PC games? First Crimson Desert, now Where the Winds Meet. They both have the makings of interesting games but the controls are janky as hell.

I know it's a gacha game but I am enjoying Wuthering Waves. The combat is pretty simplistic but I find the world interesting. We need more and better Xanxia/wuxia games is the takeaway for me.
