It was late one evening after a day of mixing. I go to do some final checks, and Pro Tools refuses to open. No splash screen, nothing. After doing everything I can think of, I go to bed, the bug haunting my dreams. It turns out it wouldn’t open because the date and time was wrong on my computer. 🙃

Here’s a limerick I wrote while mixing: If you are doing a mix And wanna make sure it won't miss Well then you oughta Go grab some water And take an enormous piss (in all seriousness taking breaks does really help)

So I’ve found myself with a lot more free time recently, and I’ve ended up being really productive! Fixed an issue in Pro Tools that’s been bothering me for ages, got everything tested and setup for streaming, and got more work done on my second album than I have in years! Feeling good! :D

I often go searching for composer jobs and stuff on social media, but everything's always so scattered and hard to find, so I whipped up this feed which gets all the posts from the past week with "composer" in them, then finds ones that say things like "looking for" and "hiring" shorturl.at/Llpwm
