I have this weird half-belief in a collective human unconscious. Some days I see dozens of people buying the same random, everyday thing like silverware. Like people will trend towards the same things without really meaning to. Maybe I’m getting “old” though, and it’s some social media thing.

“Does this line answer a question about the previous one?” And “Is it the question I’d like to answer?” Are things I keep having to remind myself to check for. This feels like basic stuff but it really hadn’t occurred to me until now.

#writing comes easy enough to me, but revision? I’m throwing myself at single paragraphs for so long just trying to make sense of my own words. I’m learning though. Slowly but surely.
