Our bird banding event at Washington Park in Milwaukee was a joy! 🐦✨ We tallied 20 species & banded 6: Catbirds, Swainson’s Thrushes, Goldfinches, Waterthrush, Nashville & Canada Warblers. Sharing the magic with school kids (future bird nerds 🪶), plus tea + empanadas = perfect day. 🫶🏾
