Saving state is crazy easy in @godotengine.org! Just setup a custom resource and add ~2 lines of code. Custom Resources are certainly the way. I thought I was going to end up spending hours writing a custom save file parser.

Maybe I’m just too used to UI development in Android, but I’m really struggling to make what I want in Godot… or maybe that’s a sign that the UI system hasn’t been as big of a focus for them (yet)? I’m currently working on an alchemy game and need to drag items over to another ui element
