Golden State’s ability to find depth in the trenches of the draft/UDFA is pretty impressive.

Aduo Thiero having a Ryan Dunn type of surprise season would be such a godsend for LA. They desperately need functional defenders who aren’t total duds on offense.

The Lakers roster is full of a lot of “the idea of this guy is great while the reality is thoroughly underwhelming” type of guys. Like if I described the idea of Ayton, Vincent, Smart, Kleber, etc. they’d all be easy to buy into.

Marcus Smart would like a word about Ayton landing this spot.

I’m not as high on him as most but between the Luka trade and this offseason’s acquisitions, it seems like the Lakers are doing a lot to minimize Austin Reaves.
