This is why it's so important to push back against the right at both an institutional and grassroots level. The far right has spent decades on ideological projects to divide and conquer. When you concede on narratives or treat bigotry as a debate to be had, it becomes a material threat to everyone.

Disappointed that Mina the Hollower is yet another game that uses souls-like mechanics. It’s like getting your ass kicked, then they steal your wallet, then they drop you off ten miles outside of town. I get it, you want to “raise the stakes” by wasting my time.

Game development is so funny because we have these grand visions of what we want to do but then get stuck spending hours on trivial things like making ESC close the correct UI element.

Since Minecraft Dungeons doesn't have a presence on BlueSky, I'll see about occasionally reposting assets that the social team posts on the other site. Nothing wholly new from me though, unless it's smaller insights into things we don't have plans to elaborate on.

I sure would like to play Forza Horizon 6, but every time I run it, the game crashes. Nothing that I've tried has worked yet. 😟

Last week I ran a 12 hour, 40 person Magic: the Gathering event at the Mojang office! Coworkers, friends, and local industry devs brought food and showed off their Easter-themed decks. We had a raffle with fabulous prizes, including Minecraft-themed tokens and playmats!

Thanks to all of the players who maintain the wikis. I reference them nearly every day for a wide variety of things. Vanilla, Dungeons, Earth, Legends, I often need to pull examples of art, mythology, stats, etc, and it's a massive time-savings to be able to quickly use them.

I don’t quite have the same energy I used to for social media. Lots of reasons, but in the old days I had the combination of a large, excited audience, and regular content I could talk about. Then by necessity I had to go quiet for a few years, and now I’m very tired. 😅

Haven’t done much PvP in Pokémon Go. Is this a good team? I don’t know. Is it winning in the low ranks? Yep!

I've only had to deal with a few people like this in my career and I have enormous sympathy for everyone who has to deal with them regularly. It's fine to not have the talent or experience to do the work but if you literally cannot imagine a finished asset in place of a temp asset, please exit.
