The Great Anthropocene debate was held this week between students in the 3rd year Stratigraphy class(ERTH 3303). The debate was vigorous with excellent arguments on both sides, but in the end the AGAINST team was voted the winning team.

ERTH 4153 Springhill Geothermal Energy Visit: ERTH 4153 were hosted by the Minister of Natural Resources and renewables Tory Rushton the Mayor of Cumberland County, Rod Gilroy and Councillor Scott Lockhart. Former Earth Sciences PhD grad, Dr. Trevor Kelly (orange jacket), facilitated the visit.

EES Honours Information Session: Wednesday, November 19th, 6-7:30pm in the Milligan Room. It is mandatory for all students entering the Honours program in Earth Sciences or Environmental Science to attend at least one Honours Information Session before enrolling in the program.
