Day 3 in Lyon consisted of great discussions followed by a field excursion to two gravel bed river sites that @H2oLyon have been working on for >10 years. Wood monitoring, unconstrained banker erosion and automatic wood detection using camera systems

Day two in Lyon consisted of exploring a local #riverrestoration scheme, followed by great discussions with #academics and #practitioners about rock and wood in rivers, concluding with a poster session—find mine here:
