Had a busy 24 hours prepping Christmas Eve dinner (lasagna) and 3 bakes for Christmas. The Yule log is the proudest I’ve been yet with a baking result! The cinnamon rolls were very good (pre-iced). The dinner rolls don’t look great but they turned out okay, the worst of the 3 tho. #christmas

Near the Convent of Christ in Tomar, Portugal is the Pegões Aqueduct, medieval aqueduct built by the Knights Templar. Porto’s Stock Exchange Palace is filled with ornately furnished and decorated rooms that can only be seen with a tour. Tix are a bit confusing, and English tours are only offered a few times per day. You can buy tix ahead of time, but then you still have to wait in line to reserve your time. 1/2

Split a Francesinha sandwich in Porto with Michelle. It’s filled with meat (beef, sausage, ham and roast), caked in cheese, topped with an egg and then doused in a beer-based tomato sauce.
