My first visit to the new Ray Lonsdale sculptures on the riverside in Sunderland. I love them. Just got a few quick snaps on my phone but I'll be heading back to spend a bit more time with them.

Another cracking night at The Fire Station watching The Futureheads last night. Probably helped that Sunderland won earlier but a cracking atmosphere around town all night.

Special shout out to the lad who opened the exits in the West Stand after the game yesterday. Felt a bit sorry for the steward just doing his job and sure they were closed for safety reasons, but it was chaos and zero communication.

Some gems on here. The skill of being able to repeat a joke time and again without getting a laugh (but the occasional reluctant smirk) is something that isn't taught in schools.
