Public Saftey Week cleanup with police and fire cadets plus students from Walnut Ridge Highschool.

Over 120 volunteers on land and water collected more than 3,950 pounds of litter at this year's Scioto Sweep. Huge shoutout to all the volunteers, park staff, and organizations that joined us to make this another successful river cleanup!

It's the Fall Equinox and a perfect time to remember to leave the leaves on the ground in your yard so it can enrich the soil, provide habitats for wildlife, and ensure organic materials do not go to the landfill.

ICYMI: Last week was Fashion Week Columbus and the Recycled Runway which highlighted the fact that 46,000 tons of textiles go to our landfill every year.
