Once or twice a year I have a road trip to Perth (6hr drive away) to get my prosthetic worked on and catch up with friends. This year I’ve got both my legs done and smooched some cows 🐮

I love the news sometimes

Been out of action for a while, needed a dose of sun before winter sets in

Whale season has started in Albany!! So blessed that i moved semi-rural for the landscape. Every year we get to enjoy the Humpbacks, Southern Rights and even the occasional Blue whale for the next few months 🐋

For maximum efficiency

Feels strange to be back in Perth after moving 6hrs out of the city. After two 5hr flights getting here it was fun to be a tourist again. Next stop is a 6hr coach back to Albany 🥳 can’t wait to see my fur babies and my chonky garden pigeons 💕

Australian butterfly house was so sweet it made my heart flutter 💕

It wouldn’t be a trip to cairns without seeing the Crocs! The first 3 are Australian salt water crocodiles and the last is a beasty American alligator (which was on my bucket list to see in person) 🐊

It’s so good to sit my jelly legs down, chuck on some HMJ and enjoy the view of the esplanade 💕🍻

I got the chance to ride the historic kuranda railway built in the 1800s with enormous tunnels, bridges and views to die for. If you ever visit Cairns you HAVE to experience it 🚂

GUYS!!!!?!???!? I’m genuinely in tears and awe and I don’t know what could possibly ever top this. Seeing a wild cassowary in the Daintree Rainforest is a once in a lifetime occurrence??!!? Please enjoy this glorious ancient murder bird in all its glory
