I was just scrolling through tiktok to kill time before my alarm went off for my workout class, stumbled on a video of someone reading my Malec/RWRB kinktober crossover fic, and promptly screamed into my pillow. 😳🥹😭😭😭

Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!

Now that the author of a certain book about which I've written, you know, a few fics has made it onto this platform, it's time for me to reiterate that I would never find anything more HORRIFYING than being perceived by the person from whose brain the source material for a fandom has sprung.
