We've started calling Pumpkin "The World's Strongest Baby" not entirely affectionately, because he can have a fever and jaw pain and be sleepy on meds and STILL scratch us up resisting the cat carrier or pill time. He is feeling better thanks to quick intervention from the vet, at least, whew.

I'm so mad about what they did to the bus terminal at Boston South Station. The useless fare gates at the train platforms cut off indoor access from the train station to the buses. Once you go outside to come back in, the new bus gates are a brightly lit, sleek wasteland with too little seating.

There are a few cabinets and rooms we're not letting the cats into, but Pumpkin is especially good at diving in when we have to open them, and then once extracted will go wild for a few minutes scrabbling at the door to get back in. We like to say he's trying to have an adventure in Narnia.
