I'm reading Once Upon a Time (the Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy bio that is basis for the forthcoming TV show) and it's really sharp and fascinating and I totally recommend. Also it's *wild* how similar her story is to Meghan in terms of marrying a famous family with a public that didn't want you there!

I was happily wrong about the STRANGER THINGS play on Broadway. While some of second act drags, it's mostly a fun, creepy thrill ride that is excellent at translating the excitement of the show. For better or worse, it truly feels like watching an episode or two of the Netflix smash.

JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN is one of the best plays of the year. Right up my alley about teen girls dealing w/ the MeToo movement. Funny & full of life & I would recommend to anyone. A real delight to be in an audience full of so many young women responding to it. Plus: Taylor swift references!!

Had most amazing time watching PRIDE & PREJUDICE in theaters for 20th anniversary w/ mostly full crowd. Theater chains leaving money on table not releasing older films more regularly. Perfect experience w/ fellow DELIGHTED fans & also I forgot how FUNNY it is. Mr. Collins loser!

Congratulations to the terrifically funny play Eureka Day, a scathing, hilarious, and even moving take on vaccine wars, for failing to pass muster as State-Approved GOP Art. Surely some venue in DC wants to serve as a home for what will now be a cause celebre.

My big idea for how to handle awards nominations during this horrible time: cancel in-person events, send out an embargoed press release, and end said release with a note on the GIANT DONATION your org is sending to relief efforts. The end!
