I was happily wrong about the STRANGER THINGS play on Broadway. While some of second act drags, it's mostly a fun, creepy thrill ride that is excellent at translating the excitement of the show. For better or worse, it truly feels like watching an episode or two of the Netflix smash.

JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN is one of the best plays of the year. Right up my alley about teen girls dealing w/ the MeToo movement. Funny & full of life & I would recommend to anyone. A real delight to be in an audience full of so many young women responding to it. Plus: Taylor swift references!!

Had most amazing time watching PRIDE & PREJUDICE in theaters for 20th anniversary w/ mostly full crowd. Theater chains leaving money on table not releasing older films more regularly. Perfect experience w/ fellow DELIGHTED fans & also I forgot how FUNNY it is. Mr. Collins loser!

I know reviews were kind of mixed but I really enjoyed GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK, a big history play that’s thematically a bummer but with plenty to say. Plus:

THRILLING that everyone is loving THE STUDIO. A comedy show with actual jokes doesn’t happen often, but it sure is fun when it does. (sick, bad, cooked industry.)

Absolutely loved PURPOSE, *another* sharp family drama by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins — except this one is a lot funnier than Appropriate. OH, MARY vs PURPOSE is going to be a real interesting race.
