Onto day 12 of better habits. For the first time in years I have a healthy sleeping pattern. Still woke up at 3am the odd day but I’ve been really strict with my sleep hygiene and doing everything I can in my power to maintain this. Feeling better for it 💛

For the first time *all year* the past two nights I’ve managed to sleep before 12am, stay asleep (for the most part) and successfully woke up at 8am. Such a simple thing but with chronic illness and painsomnia is such an achievement for me.

People who are new to writing alt text sometimes feel they must describe every detail, and then get overwhelmed by this pressure. Imagine a large crowd at a football game: you are not expected to describe every single person in a crowd in detail. This would be nearly impossible.

Did you know bunnies can hold a grudge for days? Well. Mine does. She missed being away from home from her favourite bun parent. Now she’s back and snuggling up to them at night she’s back to her usual self… Can’t make this shit up. 😂

The look of betrayal! Poor soul needed to be syringe fed today after the vets. Between travelling/ stress of going to vets and missing her favourite human she was barely eating (showing no signs of stasis or pain) . She’s perked up after a few syringes of critical care! It’s always a messy job 🤣

Back home, I fell asleep while being driven home from location. Woke up wondering what planet I was on. Cuppa tea in my favourite bunny mug and some bourbon biscuits, heated blanket on. Grateful that’s my last outdoor scenes for the year, fibro pain and cold are not a good combination. 😮‍💨

Flex Friday for yesterday. It was leg day and I’m definitely getting stronger ❤️ over double body weight hip thrusts now among other notable progress I’m really proud of. 🔥 Remember your personal progress isn’t a race, you get to go at your own pace.
