One nice thing about the ADHD stuff is finally getting an answer as to why I always felt behind others or just, much less mature in general as to whats expected. Apparently thats just very common, which is a slight comfort haha

A year since I was diagnosed with ADHD and its still hard to fully accept why things are a certain way, why I think certain ways and why certain things just don't seem to work well for me. I never want to use it as an excuse, but it's been tough going at all this alone. But, glad I have answers.

My biggest regret in life so far is that I have them and let them affect me as much as they do.

NHS Ambulance people are very nice. Bit of a scare, and was initially downplaying symptoms cause I didn't want to waste anyone's time but, glad things got checked anyway, and I'll get further help if needed, just tired now, what a night.

It's kinda sad to realize you have no one in your life anymore to share those core inside jokes or memories with, the old gang split to the wind and none of you talk anymore, most moved on and had new experiences replace it. But you remember everything and want to go back to where no one wants you.

Crazy how much just a few weeks of stress can ruin months of good dieting and weight control. You'd think it'd be as hard to gain as it is to lose, or at the very least to have the road to loss feel in any way invigorating. Guess its just random chance on what the brain decides is a worthy focus.

I wonder if there's such a thing as a dangerous amount of time to think. To be on your own with your thoughts, nothing but you and freedom, but no actual stimulation in any meaningful way. Kind how repeating a word makes it lose meaning, thinking yourself into sociopathy or apathy till you're empty.

I miss discussing movies, shows, games n stories etc. with others. Probably why I watch reaction channels and video essays now. Due to niche interests or work,its hard to meet people, and with time and age being a factor, the opportunity fades. Get a solid community or group early in life I guess.
