Today's movie was supposed to be The Mask. But it is no longer available to stream, it's rent only. I refuse to pay a streaming service a second time to watch something once. So we're moving straight on to The Addams Family! Absolute bloody classic. Raul Julia killed it as Gomez ♥️♥️♥️

Movie 4 is Ferngully The Last Rainforest. I haven't watched this in probably 20 years. I'd forgotten that Christian Slater played the jealous boy fairy, and that the movie starts with faux Aboriginal art animating the prologue 😬

Movie number 3 is the OG Lion King! Haven't seen the "live action" and I doubt I ever will. The animated one is perfect. Great songs, great villains, and the great message of don't trust nazis.

October movie month #2 - Jurassic Park! Despite the fact that I watched this in August, I'm always up for another rewatch. Absolute fucking amazing movie, still holds up, far too terrifying for its PG rating 😄

Found a photo of my first car! 1982 Nissan Bluebird sedan. No power steering, windows, or mirrors. No heating (disconnected because it leaked) No air con. No idle (had to heel-toe the brake & acccelerator to stop it stalling). Tape deck with 2 shitty speakers in the front doors. Cost me $1800.

My new favourite YouTube channel is Garden State Tortise. He runs a tortise rescue and captive breeding program (for endangered species). He's really informative and always super positive, even when he's dealing with badly treated resuces who are in bad shape.
