A family member, who lives in Southwest Missouri said that there has been very little media coverage about what happened here in St. Louis on Friday. I attribute that to St. Louis being a blue bubble in a red state. A lot of folks prefer to ignore us when they aren't trashing us.

I live in a St. Louis neighborhood that was minimally affected by Friday's tornado. We still don't have power. I'm not grousing about that as probably hundreds of folks have lost everything, and I don't see a need for utility workers to be doing their jobs at an unsafe pace

There was a tornado nearby in St. Louis today. Yesterday they tested the tornado sirens for much if the day. Today in a time of critical need, they were NOT working.
