Congress members are cancelling appearances. Concerned for their own safety now. It hasn’t been enough that hundreds of children have been murdered in their schools and churches. Perhaps now they are willing to do something about the epidemic of gun violence?

Beautiful Ogunquit, Maine sunrise.

Just got back from beautiful Maine coast resort. Not one single Canadian license plate to be found. Businesses, hotels and restaurants are all hurting from the loss of our wonderful Canadian friends.

Up here in Maine in summer peak season and the Canadians aren’t here. This time of year there’s always lots of Canadian friends at the beaches, shopping, restaurants. But they are not here. Who can blame them?

These protests are great but we are still stuck with this guy for three more years. Our focus now needs to be on fundraising for the Democrats who have a good chance to beat sitting Republicans in the House.

Looks like President Obama drew the short straw.

Trump refused to commit to avoiding use of military force to take control of Greenland or the Panama Canal at a press conference today.

Watching the Vice-President certify the election in favor of the man who caused an insurrection and who is an adjudicated sex offender has hit me quite hard. That such a man will occupy that hallowed office again is incomprehensible.

I can’t love this more.

Given that presidents’ have immunity for official acts, Biden should issue blanket pardons to as many people as he deems in danger of Trump’s retribution.

The nation just elected a guy who has committed crimes and gotten away with all of them. And here the Democrats are expressing all this angst about Hunter’s pardon. No wonder we lost.

Why all the GOP consternation about Gaetz’ alleged sexual misconduct? After all, the big guy has himself been found liable for sexual abuse.
