The Europeans really do have the right idea when it comes to plazas and the outside culture. Hamburg city centre is delightful, not much traffic around and able to enjoy a pint watching the world go by.

Alarm set for 515am, body wakes me up at 430am. Too late to go back to sleep, too early to wake up. Got an early flight to Knock for the funeral today, hoping everything goes smoothly.

In sad news my birth mum died this morning after a fight with cancer. It's amazing how a week ago I saw her in Ireland and now she's gone. It's been an emotional 16 months but so thankful for the time we spent together and so happy we got a photo of the four half siblings together last week. #rip

At Luton airport, off to see my biological mum in Ireland. Amazing to have found her a year ago, but sad this will be the last trip as she's near the end of her life. Hoping today to get her four biological kids in the same room for the first time in her life. Should hopefully be pretty special.
