I’ve always really enjoyed THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake. It’s not reinventing any wheels. It’s horror junk food, in a good sense. Geoffrey Rush is really the highlight.

I got my run in early this morning and I wrapped up the safety training I was doing at home, so it felt like a good day to start up some of my annual Halloween season watches. I’m starting with SCREAM. 🎃

I haven’t talked it about it on here but Alien Earth is fucking brilliant. It fleshes out the universe in a way none of the movies have.

I got to meet Jenette Goldstein of Aliens, Terminator 2 and Near Dark fame at a horror convention today.

I said if I got the new job I was going for I would get a tattoo to celebrate. I had a few different ideas, but ending up going of The Crypt Keeper. I think it turned out great.

I’m off until I start my new job Monday and I’m spending my first night off watching the DREAM WARRIORS in the theater.

Just wrapped up my last day at my job. I have a tattoo appointment scheduled and a hike in Wyoming later this week to decompress.

THE EVIL DEAD is just such a great fun movie.

One of my last days of work got to be up above Idaho Springs working on a cool gondola project. Lots of wildfire haze.

Some people peak in high school. I’m one of them. My senior yearbook quote was from Vigo the Carpathian in Ghostbusters 2 "Death is but a door. Time is but a window. I'll be back" and I’ll never top that.

Tomorrow there was a scheduled get-together at a brewery near my office as a going away party for me. The most on brand thing ever at this job is that I’m scheduled for so much work tomorrow that I won’t be able to make it.

HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL is probably my favorite Vincent Price movie. I watch it every year during Halloween season.

We went to a breakfast place and bakery and ordered an eclair. When the guy brought it to the table he said “Well I do eclair,” in a southern accent and it made me laugh. This is the stuffed peach French toast I got.
