The primetime MLB playoff games next Tuesday are most likely going to be BOS at NYY and NYM at LAD. That's awesome!

Another reason the mlb refuses to call these games is that the Players Assoc has worked value into every single AB for stats that = contract and bonus $$. A player that finishes with 30 doubles makes more money than a guy that hits 29. Shortening a game could cost somebody big dollars.

Nobody wants to face Nolan McLean in the post season. He almost guarantees NYM take Dodgers to 3 games.

At this point mlb keeps this utterly meaningless game going for the sake of stadium consessions revenue.
