Ski trip coach has arrived at Hotel Post safely

French trip students are now back in the UK and waiting for the train to leave. We’re on the 16.32 train and should arrive at 18.08 at Warwick Parkway. Superb job from our students who really got into the spirit of the trip and made it memorable for everyone!

French trip students are stocking up on food at the market this morning before heading back to the hotel, then onto Gare du Nord to catch the 14.02 Eurostar home. Some excellent bargaining skills on display!

Ski trip travel update. We've made it to Germany for breakfast after a quiet night on the bus. On schedule to reach our hotel this evening for dinner.

French trip students have enjoyed speciality Lebanese ice cream as their last evening outing. So many pistachios!

French trip students have enjoyed a true experience of French Gastronomie, ordering all sorts of smoked foods at La Forge. ‘The best steak I’ve ever had’- direct quotation!

French trip students spent an excellent afternoon at Les Halles shopping centre. There is now no Lego or Grenadine left in Paris. We’re now back at the hotel getting ready for the Gastronomic experience restaurant, which will be followed by Lebanese ice cream and the trip award ceremony!

French trip students went to the escape room this morning and successfully completed a bank heist! Well done to Albert’s team who were the winners!

French trip students went to see a film tonight, as has become a tradition on this trip. We watched Les Enfants de la Resistance, and learnt about the occupation, collaboration and resistance. Great effort from our students whose listening skills were put to the test!

French trip students had a great evening at Ty Breiz, a traditional Breton restaurant. Very proud of our students who have been ordering in French, trying so many new foods, and who of course have been great company!

French trip students visited the Stade de France this morning, seeing the president’s box and walking through the players’ entrance. A highlight for lots of the students! Back into town now for some lunch, then onto Notre Dame, a traditional Breton crêperie for dinner, and the cinema this evening

The food is ordered and the bar is stocked ready for a great night of jazz tomorrow. What a great way to end the half term!

And last of all, the Louvre at night!

French trip students had a traditional meal at Chartier, a real French institution. Great atmosphere and lots of duck, steaks, cheeses, snails and profiteroles!

French trip students enjoyed some shopping on the Champs Elysées, lots of luxury stores but the highlights included the Renault flagship store and a football challenge in Adidas world won by James!

French trip students are on the top of the Eiffel Tower! Once we walk down we’ll go to the Champs Elysées for some shopping, then on to Chartier restaurant for some snails and duck legs… photos to follow!

French trip students have had a great morning at the Musée d’Orsay and are now ordering second desserts at the patisserie. Eiffel Tower this afternoon!

Today is Japan’s National Foundation Day, focusing on national identity and history. The flag is being flown today to acknowledge those of Japanese Heritage in our School Community.

Members of Chapel Choir sang Evensong at St Mary’s Church, Warwick yesterday afternoon alongside the church choir. Congratulations to everyone who took part!

Excellent effort by the Junior Table Tennis Team of Shrey P, Rayaan M, Junior C and Michael L, who yesterday finished 4th in the West Area Finals of the National Table Tennis Championships. They competed superbly with some wins, draws and narrow defeats. Well done boys!

For the final day of our A Level Drama residential students have had a backstage tour of The National Theatre and experienced Wayne McGregor’s Infinite Bodies Exhibition at Somerset House @nationaltheatre.org.uk

Thank you to Year 11 for their enthusiasm at today’s Poetry Live event in Oxford, where we were lucky to see and hear a range of poets, including Carol Ann Duffy. We hope that ideas from the performances and Q & A sessions will feed into their writing and thinking about poetry.

It’s National Storytelling Week — a perfect excuse to dive into the magic of a really good story. We marked the occasion with a fun One‑Line Story Challenge! Prompts sparked fantastic creativity, and our library was buzzing with clever and humorous stories. Thanks to all who took part!

Whole School Assembly is a chance to celebrate student achievements. We've had a busy few weeks handing out K.E.S. Awards & Middle School Commendations, as well as marking success in debating, poetry, drama, chess, badminton, cyclocross, cross country, creative writing & table tennis. Well done all!
