felt like crap today so didn’t get much done. soaked in the tub, so there’s that but still… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

meanwhile, this past weekend in the Lou… 🤪🤪🤪 [srsly, there is a goat and 3 vervet monkeys on the loose in North St. Louis and no one knows where they came from!]

today i pulled the hats from the drying rack and they turned out pretty good! was able to put my #KeithHaring pin set back on.

on this sunday, in addition to putting up a bunch of vests and suit jackets, decided to scrub and clean a few grubby ballcaps.

saturday morning and was in the mood for #frenchtoast. i’ve had some eggs in the fridge for what seems like ages since i don’t eat that much anymore and trying to get out the door to go g’Ubering in the mornings, they never got eaten.

out early friday morning to get the recycling out because #fridayisalwaystrashday finished off my dead plant pull from the day before. now just need to look up the next yard waste pickup is. a quick run to the grocer and even got shoutout from a woman on how i@formed the brim of my @Bucees cap lol

dodged the rains#drops on thursday to yank some of the dead plants in the flowerbed out front. then decided to go get that chinese takeout (fried dumplings and crab rangoons) that i’d wanted on tuesday but the place was closed. worth the wait!

while out and about on wednesday, i came across these chunks of train rail on a siding. they were only about 2’/61cm and i tried to lift one but barely got the end off the ground. damn that was heavy!

so after helping my friends on tuesday, i stopped by the #AnselmKiefer exhibit STL Art Museum. it’s closing soon so am glad i made it.

sooo…a friend had a triple bypass about a week and a half ago and a good friend of His was flying into town to act as his 24/7 caretaker for awhile. after picking the caretaker up @ the airport, we went by the local Red Cross chapter (where my friend works) to pick up his truck.

if people can board airplanes and fly in their pajamas, surely it’s ok for me to put out the trash can in mine, right?

#uberdriver #uber decided to take a break from (and possibly quit all together) driving @Uber since i don’t seem to be making anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#Wolfmoon appeared saturday night as the first #fullmoon of the year. and making an appearance in its closest position to the earth and sun (and moon…duh!) is the planet #Jupiter! let’s hear it for@Jupiter, folks! 👏🤪👍

friday, i started off with a telehealth follow-up with my GI-doc after this weeks belly ultrasound and everything is the same.

wanted to see if the moon would be shining bright on new years, but it was totally overcast. was a good lazy day and well earned.

on this penultimate day of the year (google it, bitches), i had my annual gastrointestinal-liver ultrasound. the tech said it was pretty unremarkable (med speak for “boring and normal”) but will hold final judgement for my call with the doc on Friday.

18F/-8C and still windy AF most of monday…this suuuuucks…

after a lovely Sunday with temps up around 70F/21C; by 3pm, temps were headed south to 30F/-1C and the wind was going crazy with gusts up to 30MPH/48KPH 😮😮😮

saturday was foggy but warm. stopped by the car wash to vac the #wooferCar since it was too busy to do it the day before.

on the day after christmas - friday - am going through #santadrag withdrawals…how long to keep wearing red and green, not to mention keeping the holiday decorations up in the #wooferCar?

christmas day was a lovely day and i spent it with my sister and her family and a couple friends. a yummy dinner - she even made homemade spätzle - and good cheer.

christmas eve, stopped by airport to check the air traffic patterns in anticipation of a busy night ahead. around sundown it was time to get going. (a good friend generated this pic of me & #FredAndEthyl on the sleigh). hours later, task complete, it was time for a good winters rest…& a cocktail

busy week and this was only tuesday! gotta keep those reindeer a’movin’…

for saturday game night, santawoofer finds its important to consider the snack selection

picked up this 45-y/old suburban housewife (with Kristi Noem-level lip filler), her teenage son and an annoying little yap-dog to go to the airport. they loved the #SantaWagon and the way i showed her how to get a great pic of all of us with her phone. i didn’t realize that she loved it THIS much!!

thursday was a long day of driving, posing for pics and making people happy. stopped by #FredAndEthyl’s doc’s office to spread some cheer and love (and get a refill on their eyedrops). what great work they do!!

today was my day off and also my annual hearing check. all good (other than living with my tinnitus - which is incurable, so… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). of course, i put on a fun suit so i could bring holiday greetings to other patients (and staff) throughout the medical center…

took saturday off and didn’t accomplish a whole helluva lot, but the kids were out of their mixed veggies that they expect for q breakfast and dinner so put on some actual clothing (NOT red or green!!!😡) and went to the grocery.

stopped by to check #Bumble’s work on friday. no matter how crooked the tree, he still knows how to top it 😈🤪🎅🏼

on thursday evening, i accompanied my sister to the theater with preshow drinks and dinner at the Angad Arts Hotel down the street

on wednesday i stopped in to see my favorite master mechanics @TelleTireAndAutoCenters.bsky.social to get some work done on the #wooferCar. a great bunch that i know i can entrust the safety of my treasured passengers to.
