I found this sign years ago on the music rack of a spinet organ at the grand opening of a department store. Laughed out loud. Asked sales clerk "How mush for the sign?" He didn't see the humour. Said "Oh, just take it." So I did.

A lot of YouTube videos deal with U.S. misconceptions of Canada. I'm not sure where these originate, but I suspect Ontario. They treat bagged milk as a Canadian phenomenon. In Alberta, we tried bagged milk for a year or two, then reverted to cartons. As far as I know it's only bagged in Ontario.

I'll wait for Winboat to develop a .deb install package. Until that happens, I'll continue to maintain an old Windows XP computer for those tasks which I perform daily and for which there is no equivalent (or even similar) native Linux app. If you're thinking of jumping out of Windows, choose Mint.

Today I downloaded Zorin OS 18.1 and installed it on a new SSD. Does it live up to the hype? Short answer: No. Long answer: not even close. It's supposed to recognize and install Windows .exe installers automatically. It won't even install its own Windows App Support app. To be continued.
