I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Dawn: So Volkner, it’s been a while. How’s things been going in the gym. Volkner: They’ve been going well, now that I’ve my drive for battling back. Though lately I’ve spent most of my time here tinkering with the electronics here. Dawn: Still buried deep in your hobby I see.😅

Sometimes I incorporate satire as a way to ease off stress & keeps things from getting too serious. That was how things like Rosa in the flag bikini came to be.

It's usually a mix between portrayals of game scenarios & slice of life moments. The game scenes bring to life everything I envisioned while playing the games. The slice of life is when I let the more creative side out.

I tend to characterize the Pokémon trainers based on their appearance & what little dialogue exists in-game. They don't really have any universally established ages, ethnicities, or known hobbies. So there's many voids to fill.
