Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning, from the upcoming Uncle Sinner album “Everybody Wants to Know How I Die”, to be released on December 11, 2025. Arranged and adapted by Uncle Sinner, using Blind Willie Johnson’s version plus a verse from Blind Lemon Jefferson’s “See That My Grave is Kept Clean”.

Recorded the first track for a new album today. I’d been putting off recording for years because I didn’t have a new original to throw in, but one drifted through my window last month and it’ll fit Uncle Sinner very well. I’m excited about it and the various traditional songs I’ve been messing with.

I’m playing a two-hour free, all ages show at @kingcobpub.bsky.social on Wednesday, March 5. Music will start promptly at 7:30. It’s gonna be good so buckle up and batten down your fuckin gitch
