That was unexpected. I couldn’t see the Aurora with the naked eye, maybe a dim glow. The moon behind lighting the landscape up didn’t help! A long exposure has no trouble capturing it though - compressing time into a single moment. #photography @photos.bsky.art

Composite photos from ice climbing in February. This is a sport I really enjoy - getting to hang out on frozen waterfalls is pretty cool! I left the camera well back (to avoid falling chunks of ice) and had it do a time-lapse.

Printing, preparing and packaging! I love making my work tangible - there is a deep satisfaction, but always the urge to do a little more after looking at them again. These will be in a local store next month.

Sometimes it gets a little windy when you’re on your way up a mountain! I planned to camp on this ridge to catch the sunrise next morning, but I didn’t want to risk my tent and ended up camping lower down in a sheltered area I got an unexpected and cool photo in the end though! #photography

This is Ginkgo. She’s a little powerhouse in the mountains. She loves snow and will be getting her first taste of it this season tomorrow! She comes with me on some trips and it’s occasionally patient when I’ve got the camera out.

Winter at night is my favourite time to photograph. It feels like being in a dream. Black Tusk, Garibaldi Provincial Park. A single 17 minute exposure. -20c and 55kph winds certainly made this an adventure! #photography @bsky.art
